OUR NEW SUSTAINABILITY STRATEGY OUTLINES HOW WE PLAN TO MAKE RETAIL A FORCE FOR GOOD
Sustainability is core of what we do at Endless. In addition to providing an improved shopping experience for our community by offering three ways to shop everything depending on what the item will be used for and budget, our model aims to make shopping more sustainable.
We believe that by offering choice to buy new, nearly-new, or rent, we can help avoid unnecessary purchases, increase the amount of wears per item, and encourage more mindful shopping habits.
But we know we can and must go beyond this. We can reduce our carbon emissions as a business, we can offer repair services and care tips to help our customers keep their clothes for longer, and we can support the brands we stock on their own sustainability journeys.
LOVE FOR SELF, OTHERS AND THE PLANET
Now, we know we’ve used the term ‘sustainability’ quite a few times already in this post. We also know that it can be a vague term that can mean different things to different people. So rather than just saying we’re trying to be more sustainable, we’ve outlined a strategy and plan on exactly what we are doing to improve our impact and be better.
Endlessly Better is our sustainability strategy which includes the specific and time-bound targets that we are reaching for and how we’ll measure them to know if we’ve achieved them. We’re publishing it so that we can be held accountable and ensure we’re walking the walk and not just talking the talk.
This all means that you’ll be hearing more often from us about our efforts to be better, and hopefully help others in our network and community to be better too. Because we’re all in it together and when we all improve, we all win.
Please reach out and get in touch if you have any questions, want to know more about our process to create this strategy, or just want to talk about sustainability in general because we are down to get nerdy about it any time! Our inbox is always open
