STEPPING OUT: YOUR GUIDE TO WINTER IN LONDON

It’s freezing, we know. But that doesn’t mean you can’t make the most of what we have left of 2021. It’s been a hell of a year and we’re here to make sure you end it on a high. So, between family gatherings and work parties, why not take some time out to do some December discoveries of your own.

Places to shop

The Endless pop-up (8th - 18th December)

Possibly the biggest occasion of the year, and no we're not biased. Pop by and say hi at our pop-up shop at 51 South Molton Street! Pick up your rented outfit for the night, grab a nearly-new gift for a friend, or find that wardrobe love that you'll wear endlessly. We've got Musier, De La Vali, House of Sunny, Harmur, Whistles...all the good stuff and perfect for Christmas! We'd love to see you there, and even more so, we'd love to see you in Endless!

Borough Market (1st - 30th December)

I mean...every Londoner knows we can’t have a festive to-do list without an honourable shout-out to Borough Market! From lights and decorations to choirs and buskers, Borough Market has all you need to spark that festive vibe. And if that’s not enough, the Evening of Cheese (yes, you read right) returns on December 15 — consult with the market’s cheesemongers and get stocked up on blues, bries and more.

Things to see

We are History Exhibition

A must see! This exhibition spotlights the works of 11 artists with personal connections to countries in the Caribbean, South America and Africa, bringing to the fore the perspectives of their communities, not as an afterthought in climate debates, but as the source of resonant ideas and imagery related to social and environmental justice.

Things to do

Somerset house ice skating (17th Nov - 16th Jan)

I mean, come on, we all saw this one coming. What says winter more than stumbles and sliding around the stunning Somerset House? And whilst you’re there, you may as well enjoy some of the chocolate fondue or cheese and wine if you feel like splashing out. The ice skating rink will be running throughout the day and evening, with special music events being held on certain nights—known as Skate Lates. Nights to look out for include the DJ Yodah’s, Nabihah Iqbal and Hot Chip’s Joe Goddard.
