The island of Ibiza is undeniably one of the most influential destinations for style and sound, shaping youth fashion culture around the world. Since rumours of an island paradise first attracted tourists to the island in the 50s, to the heyday of the rave scene in the 90s, Ibiza has remained as the leader of party wear.

Want a little fashion history lesson before you jet off to the white island this summer? We’re here to help. Let’s start with the 1960s: at this time crochet bikinis, headbands and flares were the Ibizan uniform of choice as the island became the hippies’ sun-kissed utopia for free-love and decadence. In the 70s the disco scene had found a second home in Ibiza’s hedonistic atmosphere. The island was an explosion of prints and colour. Remember what Miranda Priestly said about florals? Ignore her: in the 70s it was florals and psychedelic swirls all year round. By the 90s the club culture we know today was starting to take shape. Clubs like Pacha and Amnesia were becoming world famous along with their spontaneous and free-spirited dress code - think furry bras in the 90s and sparkly mini-dresses that would make Paris Hilton jealous in the noughties.

We bet this all sounds very familiar. Well, Ibiza’s long history of bohemian culture is still influential today and we can almost guarantee that these little pieces of history have found their way into your suitcase.

So, are you craving one of those care-free Ibizan summer evenings? We don’t blame you. Lucky for you, Endless Wardrobe has got all the party rentals you’ll need for your summer vacay (or even “staycay”).

If you’re going to take advantage of Ibiza’s amber list status, it’s time to start thinking about how to make an impact from the second you’re hit with that warm summer air. We’re not saying you need to don your fanciest party dress while buying your obligatory airport snack and magazine, but spending some time putting together an Heathrow-appropriate fit is well worth the effort. Our top tip? Layer up! Opt for a cute cardi paired with a comfy dress or colourful co-ord.

Whether it’s non-stop pool parties or heading to Pacha, this new De La Vali drop is exactly what you’re after. With their Ibizan roots and IT-girl-wardrobe status, these dresses are perfect for keeping in line with the island’s sexy dress code. The new Bluebell dress fits and flares in all the right places. Pair it with some simple heels and a red lip and you might just bag an Ibizan lover to match.

Wanting a more relaxed holiday this summer? After the craziness of this year, we don’t blame you. Get in touch with nature and go horse-back riding in the Ibizan mountains; live out your cowgirl fantasy by slipping into this Free People halter with some tiny shorts and cowboy boots. Chilling at the hotel? Pop on the Essentiel Antwerp kimono to go and order your third pool-side Pina Colada of the day… Or is it your fourth?

Even if you’re not jetting off this summer, Endless Wardrobe has just what you need to make you feel like you’re partying the night away on the Sunset Strip in San Antonio. Bring De La Vali’s Ibizan roots to the UK; opt for the Fuego dress to add some much needed sunshine or the Frisco dress to bring some fire to any summer party. BBQ on the beach more your thing? This Free People dress is the perfect cover-up for any sandy trip.

And in case you missed it, there’s 3 for 2 on ALL rentals throughout August. So, what are you waiting for? Book that holiday and get renting. Everything you need to become an Ibiza style icon is waiting for you onsite.
